Mahalo Tiki Lounge is an upscale Polynesian destination situated on the top floor of QRE Plaza in fashionable Queen’s Road East. Evoking the stylish elegance of the 1970’s, Mahalo’s tropical Chic lounge and open-air terrace offers sweeping views of the city provides Hong Kongers a luxury refuge. Mahalo is a warm Hawaiian expression of gratitude and respect, which is extended to guests as they walk in the door.

Mahalo’s guests are invited to explore its “treasure map” menu of more than 50 Tiki inspired cocktails while surrounded by great music, five star service and lush greenery. Taking the Tiki concept to a new level of refinement, the cocktails are embellished with fresh, healthy and colourful fruit and each beverage is prepared with the utmost quality.

Founder Max Traverse appointed Interior Architecture Company In Situ & Partners to create a sophisticated setting that subtly encompasses the classical elements of Tiki culture: earth, water, wind and fire. The interiors feature traditional bamboo combined with retro brass features, oceanic art and floral components. Tropical plants are situated throughout and intricately designed botanical wallpaper adorns the walls in the entrance and lounge. With a laid-back atmosphere, a selection of oversized drinks made for groups and small plates designed for sharing, Mahalo has a distinct sharing culture perfect for small groups or large-scale events.
